We aim to hold 4 -6 meetings per year which is great value. It is a lovely opportunity to attend a variety of lectures, catch up with other members in a wonderful local venue with a fabulous lunch included. We look forward to seeing you soon. Membership allows access to arguably the best postgraduate programme in the UK, at no further cost.

Mike Heffernan & Toby Edwards-Lunn

“I’m getting long in the tooth, how do I keep them?”

Aim: To overview the process of root caries and treatment for patients with root caries and exposure.

Objectives: To discuss risks for longevity of teeth with root exposure. Provide an update on the process and approaches to prevent root caries. To be able to decide what type of restorative procedure is most favourable to treat root caries.

Learning content: This lecture will consider and discuss root exposure and caries.

Simon Whitley - Oral Surgeon

Aims: Provide update in knowledge of oral cancer management

Objectives:Give overview of aetiology, risk factors, diagnosis and treatment of oral cancer

Explain importance of early cancer diagnosis


Jocelyn Harding - patient management

Aims:Understand the different options available to help our patients mouth care and their journey living with cancer 

ObjectivesLearn About cancer statistics

Recognise the effects of cancer treatment on the oral cavityand the patient as a whole
